A collision in Anderson County also led to a fatality. One man died and two other people were injured in a crash involving an 18 wheeler near Waco.

San Antonio Texas 18 Wheeler Accident Leads to Four Fatalities

A Texas 18 wheeler accident near San Antonio on Halloween weekend involved a head-on collision and a vehicle fire. An SUV was moving northbound along Applewhite Road when it jumped the median and struck the tractor trailer head-on. The big rig rolled into a ditch, while the SUV caught fire from the force of the collision. A San Antonio Police Department spokesman told reporters that all four occupants of the SUV died at the scene.

Houston Driver Suffers “Catastrophic” Injuries in Texas 18 Wheeler Accident

A Houston driver was decapitated in a Texas 18 wheeler accident in northwest Harris County. The impact from the collision apparently ripped off the roof of the driver’s side of the Honda as it struck the tractor trailer. A spokesman for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office told reporters that the driver collided with a slow-moving big rig. News reports stated that the driver’s body was thrown from his vehicle and found several yards from the crash site.

Anderson County Texas 18 Wheeler Accident Involves Two Big Rigs

Two massive tractor trailers collided in a Texas 18 wheeler accident in Anderson County. Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to an accident on U.S. Highway 79 near Jacksonville. Troopers reported that a tractor trailer carrying part of a mobile home struck another big rig. The driver of the truck carrying the mobile home died at the scene. The other driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Injuries Sustained in Rollover Texas 18 Wheeler Accident

Three people in two cars were hospitalized with severe injuries after being involved in a Texas 18 wheeler accident. Reports from local authorities showed that the driver of a passenger car was driving into oncoming traffic on Highway 6 near Waco. The driver struck another car and a tractor trailer. The big rig may have rolled over to avoid striking the passenger car head-on.
